HERBIE SYKES GEMS

Details of this dropped into my inbox the other day and I am sorely tempted to take a closer look.

Rouleur have put together two books from the pen of Rouleur regular Herbie Sykes.



"Maglia Rosa, Triumph and tragedy at the Giro d’Italia" is the highly acclaimed history of this great Grand Tour, first run in 1909, while "The Eagle of the Canavese" tells the story of twice Giro winner Franco Balmamion, an unsung hero of Italian cycling. 

Each copy of Canavese is signed by the author and Balmamion himself, and Rouleur are including two vintage postcards of Franco too, all for £50.


That’s two books and two postcards to put down on my, admittedly early, Christmas list...
